Professional Recognition enables your organisation to gain Active IQ’s professional hallmark for your own non-regulated training programmes.
Your programmes can vary in length and in delivery method and context, as long as they meet the quality guidelines set by Active IQ.

Active IQ’s Professional Recognition process
Active IQ will:
- Provide you with guidelines to support the Professional Recognition application process.
- Review your application and programme materials.
- Provide the Active IQ Professional Recognition logo for use on course materials and in-house certificates of achievement.
- Request an annual review and renewal activity to ensure your programmes continue to meet the quality guidelines.
About Professional Recognition
Active IQ’s Professional Recognition service complements its suite of regulated qualifications and enables your business to enhance the status of your own non-regulated training programmes by gaining the Active IQ professional hallmark of quality, recognised by both employers and learners alike. We have several pricing options available, providing a flexible service to meet a variety of organisational needs:
- Bronze: £450 + VAT per year (for 1 training programme)
- Silver: £600 + VAT per year (2-5 training programmes)
- Gold: £850 + VAT per year (6-10 training programmes)
- Platinum: £1,250 + VAT per year (11-20 training programmes)
- Centre approval fee: £100 + VAT (only applicable for centres not approved with Active IQ to deliver regulated qualifications)

Submitting training for Active IQ’s Professional Recognition service is done via two online forms.
Centre Approval Form for centres not already approved with Active IQ to deliver regulated qualifications.
- Detailing information concerning your centre, policies, procedures and staffing in relation to all Active IQ Professional Recognition programme(s) you plan to submit
- One-off £100+VAT centre approval cost
Programme Approval Form for each individual programme submitted.
- Providing relevant programme information such as associated staff, programme structure, content, delivery, assessment and quality assurance for your programmes. (This second form may need to be completed multiple times if submitting more than one programme).
- Annual licence fee (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum)

Professional Recognition programme applications are reviewed within submission review sessions that take place on a monthly basis.
One year from the date Professional Recognition is granted. Centres approved to run Active IQ Professional Recognition programme(s) will be required to submit each programme on an annual basis.
Centres applying for Professional Recognition must:
- Be able to demonstrate that their staff are technically competent to deliver the programme(s).
- Be able to demonstrate that there are internal quality assurance and review procedures in place.
- (if applicable) Be able to demonstrate a clear material difference between their non-regulated training provision and Active IQ’s regulated qualifications.
Upon training being granted Professional Recognition, centres will receive:
- Confirmation of Professional Recognition from Active IQ.
- The Active IQ Professional Recognition logo which can be used on all promotional materials and certificates of achievement.
