About this Qualification
The aim of this qualification is to assess the knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of assessment without any requirement to practice as assessors.
Entry Requirements and Progression
These qualifications are open to all 19+ learners who have occupational and technical competence in the areas that they wish to assess. Learners who have achieved the Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment can then progress on to the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement. Learners who have achieved the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement can continue on to the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.

Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (eLearning, one-to-one tutor guidance and assessment)
Assessment
A series of written questions submitted to your assessor within a 10 week period.
