Welcome to our January newsletter. While it’s far from ideal that we are once more in lockdown, I can’t help feeling that we are better prepared for this one with the experience and protocols in place from last year.
In terms of digital learning and assessment, I am confident that standards can remain high and learners can continue to progress. The backdrop of leisure facilities, colleges and classrooms being closed is another body blow to all, but we can only do our best in the circumstances and look to a brighter future.
I bitterly regret the renewed upset among consumers, operators, fitness professionals, training providers, tutors and assessors whose frustration I share. Yet this upset reflects a passion for our sector and its services and shows how much it is valued, needed and worth fighting for.
