Active IQ will be attending a range of different events as the year draws to an end, look out for us at:

AoC annual conference – 15-17th November:
We will be attending this year’s AoC annual conference and with guest speakers such as Ruby Wax OBE, Lord Sainsbury of Turville and Steph McGovern it is set to be another fantastic year. We will be on Stand 28 in Hall 3 and will also be taking part in a pitch session on Meeting the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework criteria for Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare.

Fitness Trainer Competition – The Skills Show 17-19th November:
Active IQ will be presenting awards to the winners of the Personal Trainer category of the Fitness Trainer Competition at this year’s Skills Show. The World Skills UK Fitness Trainer Competition showcases and tests the skills and knowledge required in the sector to deliver excellent fitness instruction to clients.

Active Training Conference and Awards – 30th November:
We are proud to be the headline sponsor for the Active Training Conference and Awards night this year, and due to high demand the awards have become a full conference with over 200 delegates to engage with. Hot topics will include the apprenticeship levy and the opportunities around the new Sport England strategy. These awards celebrate exceptional performance and commitment in the physical activity sector, specifically vocational education, training and development.

UK Active Summit – 9th November:
This year, the National Summit’s central theme will be Physical Activity: Always Moving Forward, exploring how the sector can support the NHS to deliver its ambitions for a healthy, active nation and ensure physical activity is at the heart of the preventative health agenda. With 500 senior stakeholders across the public health, clinical commissioning, local authority and physical activity sectors in attendance, all committed to getting more people, more active, more often.

If you’re planning to attend any of the above events and would like to meet up with a member of the Active IQ Business Development team, please let us know by emailing businessdevelopment@activeiq.co.uk as we would be delighted to see you there.
