In this month’s Spotlight feature, we speak to Customer Services Supervisor Jonny Wrycraft.


Jonny Wrycraft – Active IQ’s Customer Service Supervisor

Q. Tell us about your role at Active IQ, how long have you worked here and what you most enjoy?

A. I have been working for Active IQ for two and a half years now. I first started with the company as a Customer Service Administrator and after just over a year with the Active IQ I was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor. I enjoy helping customers on a daily basis with all queries from registrations to certifications.


Q. What advice can you give people who aspire to be where you are?

A. The world we live in is ever changing and it’s just about getting yourself out there and getting as much experience and contacts as you can while working hard to achieve the best you can.


Q. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A. Growing up I had the typical teenage boy dreams of being a professional football player or cricket player. I use to play cricket for Huntingdon Town and was invited to county trials; unfortunately I was sick for the second trial so wasn’t accepted!


Q. Tell us something we would never guess about you?

A. During my education I completed GCSE PE and then went onto college where I completed the Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science qualification, finishing with a triple Distinction.


Q. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

A. Work hard and you will achieve great things.


Q. Which exercise do you most enjoy?

A. It has to be football, however I have just had an operation on my foot which will stop me playing football for 6 weeks!


Q. Any hidden talents?

A. Not many people know this but I am a Qualified Football Official for the FA; I qualified at the age of 15 and have officiated in many high level games locally but also for various academies such as Tottenham and Southampton.


Q. How would people describe you in three words?

A. Mature, chilled, knowledgeable.
