In this month’s spotlight feature, we interview Claire Rockenbach, Customer Service Administrator

Q. Tell us about your role at Active IQ, how long have you worked here and what you most enjoy?
A. I have been working at Active IQ for just over 2 years now, every day in Customer Services is varied as we work on a rotating rota covering every day duties which include certification, registrations, marking exams, and processing resource orders, as well as looking after my own individual centres of which I have approximately 280. At times it can be very hectic and hard work but we all work as a team to give the best possible customer service and care to all our centres and learners.

Q. What advice can you give people who aspire to be where you are?
A. Never give up on your dreams. It’s not about how good you are, it’s how good you want to be.

Q. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A. Pharmacist ….. But my Chemistry grade put an end to that at the time!

Q. Tell us something we would never guess about you?
A. I was a Games Maker at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games!

Q. What is the best advice you have ever been given?
A. A past manager of mine once said, “If you don’t have a passion, then you have nothing, if you don’t believe in what you are doing, why would anyone else?”…

Q. Which exercise do you most enjoy?
A. Swimming, cycling and walking around my local country park.

Q. Any hidden talents?
A. I wouldn’t say it’s a talent as such……… but I can touch my nose with my tongue!

Q. How would people describe you in three words?
A. Outgoing, approachable and organised.
