The UK’s leading Ofqual-recognised Awarding Organisation for the Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Sector, Active IQ is celebrating winning the prestigious ‘Supplier of the Year’ award at the ukactive Flame Awards 2017.
The award, which was presented on the 28th June at the Telford International Centre, celebrates and recognises an industry supplier which enables more people to get active by understanding clients’ needs and demonstrating excellence in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
“We are absolutely delighted to have won this award and to be recognised by the industry in this way,” says Jenny Patrickson, Managing Director, Active IQ. “Over this past year we have worked very hard behind the scenes to ensure we can continue to drive and raise the standards in providing high quality qualifications for the industry as well as meeting employer and industry demands. We have taken the time to really understand what our customers are looking for when it comes to the development of their employees and have launched several new qualifications in light of this including our most recent Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Personal Training.

“Our Professional Recognition and partnership programmes have also seen an enthusiastic uptake by many different types of business from boxing to bootcamp and lifesaving to trampolining, showing the reach and scope of our support within the industry.
“We are very proud to be chosen as the Supplier of the Year from a very strong field of excellent entrants. I would like to thank and congratulate my team here at Active IQ as it is their vision, hard work and dedication that makes everything we offer possible.”
The Flame Awards recognise leisure centres, health clubs, group operators and individuals that have demonstrated exceptional standards across all areas of the operation. An estimated 800 guests from the health and fitness industry were at the event to watch Active IQ receive its award.
ukactive Chair Baroness, Tanni Grey-Thompson, said: “Experiencing first-hand the enthusiasm and passion in the room at the Flame Awards is always one of the highlights of my year and this year was no exception. The dedication and talent in the sector is clear to see and will hold it in very good stead over the coming years.
“Congratulations to all the finalists attending the event, and to the winners, who have all demonstrated exceptional standards. They have set the bar extremely high and we must aim to match this across the sector.”
