Here at Active IQ, we are very excited to be working with the AoC Sport (Association of Colleges) and sponsoring its WorldSkills UK Fitness Trainer Competition. As well as lending financial support we are helping to develop this exceptional competition framework that advocates and celebrates the values of skills excellence and vocational training.
The deadline for this year’s competition is coming up fast – so we would urge training providers and colleges to enter their exceptional students by Friday 7 April here:
Competition entry is open to any institution in the UK for students studying for a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification or equivalent across colleges and private training providers. Entry and attendance at heats is completely FREE and the AoC will also fund competitors’ accommodation and subsistence and the national finals. The competition category for 2017 is:
- Personal Trainer – students working towards or recently achieved a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent
“This is an excellent opportunity for talented students to showcase their skills, boost their knowledge, learn from the experience and enhance their career prospects with a raised profile. We are very excited to sponsor this event and are looking forward to meeting many inspiring, young students to offer our support and encouragement,”
Jenny Patrickson, Active IQ Managing Director.
