Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do Active IQ endorsed courses attract REPs or other professional CPD points?
A. No, organisations must apply directly to SkillsActive or other appropriate professional bodies and complete the appropriate application form(s).
Q. How long will my application take?
A. If your course was submitted on or before the 21st of each month, it will be considered by the Active IQ Qualifications Review Group and you will receive initial feedback by the 11th of the following month. The total length of the endorsement process will vary for each application.
Q. How long does my endorsement last?
A. 1 year from the date endorsement is granted. Endorsement will be automatically rolled over for a further 12 months unless a termination notice is served by the centre or Active IQ.

Q. What is the endorsement criteria?
A. Centres applying for endorsement must;
- be or become an approved Active IQ centre
- provide specific information outlined in the application form and dependent on the type of endorsement sought
Q. What does my centre receive if our application is successful?
A. You will receive the following:
- A certificate of endorsement from Active IQ
- Active IQ endorsement logo which can be used on agreed materials depending on the scope of the endorsement being given.
