Introduction

This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

Qualification structure and credit value

This qualification contains three mandatory units (15 credits)

  1. Assess occupational competence in the work environment (H/601/5314) – this unit is worth 6 credits
  2. Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding (F/601/5319) – this unit is worth 6 credits
  3. Understanding the principles and practices of assessment (D/601/5313)- this unit is worth 3 credits
