Introduction
A vocationally related qualification (VRQ), at Level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework, covering the requirements of the Mandatory Technical Certificate in the Active Leisure and Learning Apprenticeship Framework.
This qualification is an introduction to the Active Leisure and Learning sector. The syllabus covers the sector and its various sub-sectors, career opportunities, employers’ rights and responsibilities and the impact of public law.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and candidates should have basic skills in communication pitched at Level 2.

- A 75 minute theory paper consisting of thirty multiple choice questions.
