Level 4 Certificate in Exercise for The Management of Low Back Pain (QCF)
Introduction
This qualification is aimed at level 3 qualified fitness instructors, personal trainers and exercise referral instructors and is intended to train learners to a professionally competent level, enabling them to prescribe, plan, conduct and review programmes to address the needs of patients/clients with low back pain.

Level 3 qualified fitness instructors, personal trainers and exercise referral (please note from September instructors will need to hold a certificate in exercise referral plus a level 4 specialism access to Level 4 REPs).

Learners must achieve both mandatory units (13 credits)
- Unit 1 - Understanding low back pain and the effects of activity
- Unit 2 - Progressive exercise programming for clients with low back pain
