Active IQ, one of the UK’s leading Ofqual approved awarding bodies, is launching a new suite of Assessing and Verifying Qualifications in late September 2010.
The qualifications are designed to qualify fitness professionals to be able to competently assess and verify within the Active Leisure sector. These will be beneficial particularly to practitioners who are looking for a change of career, but wish to stay in the sector.
Assessor Qualifications
Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
Internal Verifier Qualifications
Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
