Carl Bromilow
Lead External Verifier
Carl has over 13 years experience within the Active Leisure Sector. He started his career as a fitness instructor progressing to a Fitness Manager position. It was here where he started his journey with NVQs achieving his assessor awards and moving to a training provider in Liverpool where he taught NVQ programmes to a diverse range of candidates. He then widened his skill set to Internal Verification and after 5 years left to further his career with one of the largest training providers in the UK as their Active Leisure Internal Verifier within the North West where he was responsible for driving quality and standards across apprenticeship programmes. Carl then accepted a position with a leading youth fitness organisation and in 2008 was appointed as the Lead External Verifier for Active IQ. He has since built on the already successful quality assurance strategy and has implemented a highly skilled team of verifiers both nationally and internationally, to guide and support approved Active IQ centres.
