Requirements for Tutors
Tutors should hold, or be working towards a teaching qualification. The following examples are acceptable (although Active IQ will consider other teaching qualifications upon submission):
- Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (PTTLS)
- Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (CTTLS)
- Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (DTTLS)
- Certificate of education
Tutors must also have the following:
- A relevant qualification alongside relevant industry experience that demonstrates appropriate knowledge, understanding and competence of the qualification they wish to teach.
