Our suite of qualifications may only be offered by Active IQ approved centres.
Approved centres include private training providers, schools, colleges and universities, prisons and youth offending institutions, emergency service and military training centres, local authorities, health promotion agencies, and others.
An approved centre may operate from a single site or consist of a group of satellite centres, and can be in the UK or overseas.
In order to achieve and maintain approval, centres must provide evidence that:
- Candidates will have equality of opportunity, be well supported, and have a positive learning experience
- Staff are technically and occupationally competent in the qualification areas, and appropriately knowledgeable and experienced in assessment and verification practice
- The learning environment and resources are adequate, and adhere to the relevant legislation.
So that our national standards are met and maintained, Active IQ approved centres are monitored and supported by the quality assurance team.
